Payment Methods:
Through PayPal, we accept all major credit cards. Postal money orders or
certified bank checks are also accepted. A payment plan can be worked
out if the one time total payment is difficult. Give us a call and we’ll
set up a payment plan that works for you. We’ll hold your snake and ship
when payment is complete.
Shipping:
We use FedEx express service to ship nationwide. They guarantee delivery
within 24 hours. We will work with you to arrange shipping at your
convenience but is very important to have someone available to accept
delivery. If this isn’t possible we can ship to your nearest FedEx or
Kinkos store. We prefer to ship when the temperatures along the shipping
route are expected to be between 40 and 90 degrees F.
Guarantee:
Our snakes are guaranteed to arrive alive and stay alive for 14 days
after delivery. For this to be effective certain conditions must be met.
The shipping container must be opened immediately upon delivery. The
snake must be provided with a suitable escape proof properly heated
cage. The cage should be large enough for the snake to stretch out most
of his length for example a 32 inch snake should have a 24 inch cage, a
6 foot snake should have a 4 foot cage. Ideally the cage should be
heated by an under cage heat mat. The temperature should vary from 90-95
degrees at the warm end to 78-85 degrees at the cooler end. It is better
to be a little cooler than too hot. A water dish large enough for the
snake to curl up in should be provided. Some snakes enjoy a good soak
especially just before shedding. The water must be checked daily as some
snakes also enjoy defecating in the water. The water dish should be
placed away from the hottest end of the cage. The new arrival should be
given at least a week to acclimate itself to its new surroundings before
feeding is attempted. We prefer to feed thawed frozen rats of the
appropriate size. Freezing kills most food born parasites and a dead rat
can’t bite and possible injure your snake. If you have any questions
about feeding or care of your snake please call us as soon as possible.
If your snake fails to arrive alive or should die within first two weeks
after delivery we must be notified immediately. Photographic evidence of
its death or a certification from a licensed veterinarian must be
provided before we can provide refund or a credit toward another snake.
